Another long night after getting through another long day. It’s not easy being a multi-faceted being. I wake up bright & early to make breakfast and get my little prince & myself ready for our day ahead then 3, 2, 1 —- TAKE OFF! From school to work to work some more to homework to work a little more. That is the life of the working single mom.

When you’re trying to juggle motherhood and entrepreneurship, you make the ultimate sacrifice. You sacrifice yourself. You devote your life to raising your children, maintaining your home, maintaining yourself and keeping your business thriving. It’s hard. I’m not gonna lie. And it’s especially hard if you are doing it on your own.

I took some time off to reflect. I thought that maybe I could be a regular mom with an ordinary life, but that’s just not me. So if you feel like you must abide by the traditional rules of how a mother is supposed to be or live a certain lifestyle to be an acceptable parent, let me be the one to tell you: You don’t.

You can still smash your goals, you CAN live your dreams, provide for your babies and be an amazing mother without having to sacrifice who you are. It’s not going to be easy. You will have to make crucial decisions constantly. You may want to give up at times, even lose your mind just a little, but you are strong and you will pull through.

I do it for my baby boy.

Do it for your babies, do it for their future and do it for you. You got this mamacitas!
